In addition to your hunt, sightseeing in Bear River Valley is spectacular. From the lodge, guests can watch bears, eagles, fox, wolves, caribou, porpoises, whales, seals and other Alaskan wildlife. Glacier capped mountains dominate the view behind the lodge. The lake itself is glacier melt-water, offering pristine clear views to every pebble at the bottom of the lake even in waist-deep water.
